[ENG] What to expect from the 8th ABSL Conference?

We have asked some of our Board Members and Partners what are their expectations from the 8th ABSL Conference – their answers are as varied as we expected! Find out what they said below, and do not forget to register yourself at www.absl-conference.com!

The title of the conference indicates that the Old World needs to get ready for the Disruption.
It is coming and we need to be proactive. Therefore I am especially looking forward to the ABSL Startup Challenge as well as to very promising panels and discussions about how to learn from what we see and anticipate what will come. Establishing new contacts and Networking is always a wonderful opportunity. I am very much looking forward to the VIII ABSL Conference.
Janusz Dziurzyński, VP Chapters, Capabilities & Operational Excellence in ABSL, Associate Director in Procter & Gamble Global Business Services
I hope to hear about future perspectives of the Polish business services sector in light of big technological, but also political disruptions e.g. Brexit. I would also like to understand what people really think about robots: shall we see them as a serious threat or rather an opporutnity? And as every year I hope to meet many of my business friends and enjoy talking to them not only in the conference lobby, but also in less formal places e.g. during the welcome cocktail or the ABSL Party.
Marek Grodziński, VP Thought Leadership & Conference, ABSL
The subject matter of the 8th ABSL Conference revolves around widely understood changes – concerning new technologies, the labour market and young talents. Most of all, I wait for the discussions on such topics as innovation and the influence of technological changes on workplaces. Furthermore, I hope that, like every year, we will share and exchange our knowledge and experience in key areas of the sector’s development. The location of the Conference – EC1 in Łódź – is also very interesting. Łódź, the city we are particularly connected with, underwent a visible metamorphosis over the last years, becoming one of the leading investment hubs in the country. I am sure that guests and participants of the ABSL conference will also see the effects of those changes and will feel the energy of the people of this amazing city!
